Q1. How long will it take before I get my garage door?
Our current lead time is around one to two weeks for roller doors and four to five weeks for sectional garage doors.
Q2. How much do garage doors cost?
The typical price for a garage door in the UK is between £750 and £3,950. The price depends on the size, the material it is made from and the features included (like fully automated for example). Remember that features such as thermal insulation mean that buying a slightly dearer product could end up saving you a great deal of money in the long run. As heating bills keep rising a well insulated door is a good investment. The same can be said for high security features as well
Q3. Do you only supply and fit garage doors or do you repair them as well?
Yes, we also repair garage doors. If we can extend the life of your existing garage door we certainly will. Regular maintenance of your garage door will prevent problems and give it a longer life. We carry a huge range of spare parts including replacement motors, seals, locks, remote controls and springs.
Q4. Who makes the best garage doors in the UK?
There is a wide range of UK-manufactured doors on the market. This includes such names as Garador, Hormann, SeceuroGlide, SWS, Cardale, Henderson and Wessex. Each door style and manufacturer offers different features and benefits.
The options include up-and-over garage doors, roller garage doors, sectional garage doors, side-hinged garage doors and a range of garage door automation products designed to improve security and make your life easier.
In terms of build quality, it is generally accepted that Hormann garage doors are probably the best on the market. Their 10-year warranty says it all. Although more expensive the quality of the doors and motors and the high quality thermal insulation properties mean they will save you a lot of money in the medium and long term.
